The Mysteries of Transcreation - Friday 31st March 2017

To a newcomer in the world of localisation and marketing, the concept of ’transcreation‘ might seem a little lofty at best, perhaps even mythical in what it purports to bring to the global table.

Fear not, however, as the world of transcreation isn’t based solely on myth and magic. Rather it is a carefully-built and well-oiled machine, underpinned by perception, precision and process, and in this workshop, we will disassemble, reassemble and look at the inner workings of this industry, focusing specifically upon:

•What transcreation is

•Who requires it and why

•Understanding/digesting creative

•Explaining yourself through rationales

•How to work with transcreation agencies

Rik Grant is a Transcreation Director and Head of New Business at World Writers.
