ITI Publications and the Bulletin

ITI's industry journal, the Bulletin, is published bi-monthly in full colour and has an estimated readership of 7,000. Both informative and entertaining, ITI Bulletin has a broad scope, and contains articles relating to all aspects of translation and interpreting. Recent issues have included advice on marketing yourself, finding the right CAT tool, translating poetry, working with agencies and legal liability for translations. Each edition also includes news on upcoming ITI events, including conferences and workshops, and informative reviews assessing the latest translation software, books and dictionaries.

The ITI Bulletin is the current holder of the FIT Best Periodical Award, which it won at the FIT World Congress in Berlin in 2014, having also come out on top at the previous FIT World Congress San Francisco in 2011. The Bulletin was also a previous winner of the award, having scooped the prize in 2005.

Other publications

ITI also produces occasional publications, both on its own and in collaboration with other organisations. These include advice booklets for businesses and organisations that are seeking to place translation work, and comprehensive surveys of salaries and rates in the translation and interpreting industry.
