ITI writes to Imperial College

ITI's Board was concerned to learn that the Translation Studies Unit at Imperial College is in danger.

The Chairman and Chief Executive of the Institute of Translation & Interpreting have jointly written to the Rector and Deputy Rector of Imperial College, London, expressing ITI's concern at Imperial's plans for its Translation Studies Unit (TSU). ITI has published this letter, which can be found below.

Staff in the TSU at Imperial have set up an online petition against the closure of the Unit, and this can be signed here. ITI urges its members and any other interested parties to sign this petition as a mark of your support for the TSU.
