Europe House event to improve the flow of knowledge among providers of EU information in the UK on the 31st May

 On 31 May we are having an event at Europe House to improve the flow of knowledge among providers of EU information in the UK.

There will be 11 stands in the conference space:

  • Eurojargon
  • Enterprise Europe Network
  • Europe Direct Information Centres
  • Practical Law
  • European Parliament
  • National Council of Voluntary Organisations
  • Solvit
  • British Library
  • Visiting Arts
  • Department of Work and Pensions (ESF)
  • Ecorys (who manage Grundtvig, Leonardo)

In addition about 40 people from EDCs, libraries, universities, other EU programmes, government departments will be coming along.

There will also be three workshops, morning and then repeated in the afternoon. These are on:

  • Finding your way round the Europa website (given by one of the Europa team from HQ)
  • Sources of EU funding in UK (given by one of the EENs)
  • Working together in the UK (given by me, looking at role of rep and various UK based networks)
