Make an Impact with Social Media and Digital Marketing - How to effectively market yourself online in 2016

Keren Lerner is the CEO and founder of Top Left Design, a London based design and marketing agency. She runs the social media for her own company so she understands the challenges of juggling business responsibilities with marketing activity. She regularly trains businesses and teams on how to effectively market themselves online.

Keren has noticed that

-          Content marketing (creating unique and relevant content for business) increases conversion if done well – but many businesses don’t have the time, skills or patience to do it properly. Big companies are putting lot of money aside for it, but SMEs struggle.

-          There are resources which teach you how to do it but this doesn’t help with the time issue – blogging and social media activity needs to be regular and the message needs to be strategically crafted., In addition the quality of writing, design and editing often suffers when people try the DIY approach.

This half day workshop gives you the framework to manage your marketing. Keren will show you how to:

1.       Plan your marketing ahead of time

2.       Create ideas for content that is useful, meaningful and memorable for your target audience.

3.       Write headlines that people want to click on and share

4.       Manage different social media channels efficiently

5.       Avoid making the common mistakes on Twitter

6.       Maximise your profile on LinkedIn

About the session:

During this half day interactive session, Keren will go through the dos and don’ts of online marketing and social media, and talk about content marketing – including blogging and content creation, the art of “curation” (sharing the content of others while giving them credit, and how to use online tools to build relationships (without being overly salesy.)

Included in this session will be a very powerful headline writing session, and a chance to start writing your next blog post. 

As people are all using social media in different ways, this will be an open interactive session so questions will be answered.
