ITI Council Working Parties

ITI Council Working Parties consist of 3 persons (one of whom is usually a Council Member) or individuals, and are set up to work on specific issues. Unlike standing committees etc., which last until replaced, Working Parties last from one Council meeting to the next and are disbanded once their work has been completed.

Sometimes described as 'rapid reaction forces', they constitute small flexible units which report back directly to Council, to whom they make their recommendations, and it is Council which holds the final decision-making power.
