Subject Areas

Many translators specialise in the translation of documents of a certain type or relating to a certain subject area. A specialist translator may be more familiar with the type of terminology used in a given field than a generalist, although a generalist of many years' experience will have a wide command of subjects. The list box only shows the subjects available.

The subjects in the list box are arranged in alphabetical order and vary in their level of precision. Be as precise as possible when selecting a subject area. Some searches can be further refined by the use of the Specific Area selection box. Many Subject Areas will allow a more specialist selection.
