Ana Luiza Iaria and Peter Linton will give an overview of the latest productivity-enhancing software packages and address some issues translators may encounter with incoming file formats, such as embedded files, PDFs and how best to convert them, and other non-standard files.
The seminar aims to explain the problems and provide some possible answers. There will be plenty of opportunity to raise specific issues you have encountered yourselves, ask questions and share experience. Please let Fiona know when you book if you would like to send any queries to the speakers in advance.

London Regional Group AGM and Christmas Party

This year’s LRG AGM and Christmas Party will take place at the Devereux pub, which some of you will know already from our Pub Tour in early July. We look forward to a strong turnout at the AGM, and hope to recruit some new members to the LRG Committee.
In keeping with treasured LRG tradition, the Christmas Party buffet will – of course –
include mince pies and mulled wine.

Exford Youth Hostel
|

The 2009 ITI Walking week-end will take place from Friday evening 29th May to Sunday 31st May and will be based at the Exford Youth Hostel. Walks will take place in Exmoor and possibly on the North Devon coast.
