Oliver Translations Ltd is a medical/pharmaceutical translation company based in the UK and has been established since 1982. Due to an increased volume in workload, we are looking for a native English speaker who could help with translation/review and administrative tasks.

Job Title: In-house Translator/reviewer
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Location: Bedford (MK44 3RZ)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000

Responsibilities:
  • Translation from French/Spanish into English
  • Review of work from other external translators
  • Understanding and use of SDL Studio
  • Understanding and following the specific processes for each client
  • Producing quality translations within given deadlines
  • Managing terminology effectively
  • Proofreading of documents
  • Act as back up for Project Managers during holidays

Requirements:
  • Degree in translation or any other relevant combination of training and experience 
  • Experience in the medical/pharmaceutical translation field 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Good knowledge of SDL Studio 
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
