Translation technology expert and ScotNet member Ramon Inglada will facilitate a discussion around using machine translation in our translation practice. There will be plenty of opportunity to share our experiences and debate questions such as 'Should we feel threatened by MT?', 'How should we charge for MT post-editing?' or 'What is ‘good enough’ quality?'. Break-out groups will allow everyone to voice their opinion. We are looking forward to a lively discussion. There will also be an opportunity for informal networking and catching up with colleagues before the workshop.
