ITI Conference 2022

FAQs

When will the ITI Conference be taking place?

Tuesday 31 May - Wednesday 1 June 2022 (approx. 9am-5.30pm).

Will it be safe to attend?

The safety and welfare of our in-person conference attendees will be our priority as we move forward with the event. We are currently limiting numbers to just 250 delegates in Brighton to ensure there is plenty of space and everyone can feel comfortable. If by May the situation is more normal, we may then increase the number of tickets available for in-person delegates. The venue has also put multiple measures in place to ensure you are in safe hands. You can find more information here.

What are the social distancing measures?

Should they be necessary at the time of the conference, the venue will have measures in place for arrival, registration, food and drinks and room layouts.

Will I need to pre-register to attend the Conference?

Attendance to the conference will only be permitted for those registering beforehand. On-the-day admittance will not be allowed. Your badge is your "ticket" into all conference activities (sessions, exhibitions, meals and receptions). Badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable at any time.

Can I request special food?

Yes, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or similar requests can be made when you register. We will work with the venue to try and accommodate your requirements, but regret that this may not always be possible. Special requests must be made during registration.

Who can attend the Welcome Drinks Reception?

All in-person conference attendees are invited to attend the Welcome Drinks Reception on Monday 30 May from 5-7pm. Please tick the box to let us know you wish to attend when you book your conference ticket. You can go back and check through my events if you are not sure.

Will I have the opportunity to connect with other attendees prior to the event?

Networking with other conference attendees will be available through our Hubilo conference platform, scheduled to be open approximately 2 weeks prior to the start of the event. From the platform virtual and in-person attendees will have access to the agenda and a list of registered attendees who have opted into the networking platform. All registered attendees will receive email notification and instructions for accessing the platform when it is live.

Can I attend some days virtually and some in-person?

Yes. To do this you would need to purchase an in-person ticket.

When can I see a full programme?

We will not have a printed programme this year as it will be available through the Hubilo platform. The majority of speakers and sessions have now been confirmed and can be found on the programme page of this website or a pdf download here. Programme and timings are subject to change without notice.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Access to the session recordings will be available for all virtual and in-person delegates to view approximately 30 minutes after each session ends. Following the conference, all recordings will be available for 30 days on the Hubilo platform. After 30 days the recordings will be available on the ITI website for conference attendees only.

How do I book the Judy Yorke Masterclass on Monday 30 May?

Select the option to add to your basket while booking your conference ticket or if you have already bought your conference ticket you can go back to your booking via my ITI, my events, view your conference booking and select the get more tickets button. The workshop has a £40 + VAT registration fee, part of which will go towards student bursaries for our 2023 conference. Places are limited to 50 on a first come first served basis. The Masterclass will not be recorded and is only available to book for in-person conference attendees. If for any reason the Conference is cancelled, the cost of the Masterclass will be refunded.

Are there exhibition and/or sponsorship opportunities?

Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available. If you are interested in sponsoring or exhibiting, please contact [email protected] for more information.

How do I book corporate showcase tickets for team members?

In order to take advantage of the super and early bird ticket rate, please make sure when you add a delegate on your registration page they are listed as an existing contact in the drop down box. If they are not please contact [email protected] to have them added.

Will I get a refund if the in-person conference needs to be cancelled?

In the event that we have to cancel the in-person element of the conference, delegates will be transferred to a virtual ticket and the difference will be refunded.

Will I get a refund if I need to self-isolate at the time of the conference?

We will not be able to refund your ticket in these circumstances, however you will have full access to the virtual platform and the recordings.

Can I store my luggage at The Grand if I’m not a resident?

Delegates are encouraged to leave their luggage and any other large items at their hotel as The Grand only has luggage storage space for residents. There is a small cloakroom but it is not suitable for luggage storage. Any large items brought to The Grand that you do not wish to carry around will be placed at the back of the conference room and left at the owner's risk.
