The new ITI Research Network e-book is available to download here.
The publication focuses on current research evidence and thinking around key issues affecting the sector.
The document was prepared following the ITI Research Network’s first-ever event on 16 June, where a discussion took place on ‘How evidence-based research can strengthen the visibility and professional reputation of translators and interpreters’; and ‘The human in the machine translation loop – what the humans can do that the machine cannot’.
Participants at the meeting included a cross-section of ITI’s research partners, corporate members, corporate education members and individual members.
Leading academics and experts have contributed to the e-book including Dr Ana Frankenberg-Garcia of the University of Surrey, Dr Lucas Nunes Vieira of the University of Bristol, Dr Maeve Olohan of the University of Manchester and Dr Jonathan Downie of Integrity Languages.
