File preparation for translators

Do you shudder at the thought of .pdf to .docx translations? Would you rather pass on a job before “wasting time replicating the source formatting? Do you want to improve upon your formatting skills or learn some new techniques in MS Word?

In the first of the four part File Preparation series from ITI Corporate member Surrey Translation Bureau, Richard Davis takes you through the basics of replicating source formatting in the most efficient way possible. He will make light work of seemingly complicated source text layouts and show you how to harness the magic of tables to produce a beautifully presented target text.

You will also pick up some tricks and functionalities of MS Word that you had perhaps never come across, all in Richard’s uniquely comical style. By the end of this webinar, you might just be as enthusiastic about formatting as he is!

This webinar will give you the confidence to accept more jobs outside the CAT tool environment. You will be able to save valuable time and effort, allowing you to focus on the main task of translation, and be confident in delivering higher quality (and better looking!) files to your clients.

This webinar is the first in a four-part series. All four parts can be bought together for a saving. Click the button below to find out more.

There is very little you would ever need to know about formatting in Word that Richard doesn’t cover at some point in these four excellent webinars. You’ll end up knowing a whole lot more about Word and PDF conversion than you did before.
