Transcreation is the name we give to the methodology used to translate messages which require not only language and vertical expertise but also a high degree of creativity and cultural awareness.
Transcreation looks at advertising content from a strategic and creative perspective to help brands deliver the original message and brand voice to target their audience in each local market while achieving a successful balance between global consistency and local resonance.
This webinar will focus on key concepts around transcreation services. It will cover challenges linguists face with these projects and how the copy should be worked on.
A sample deliverable template will be shared to explain ways of working for those interested in adding this service to their matrix. Furthermore, the information shared will be of interest also for those professionals who specialise in editing or creative services.
A number of examples will be examined.
