ITI Awards 2020 open for entries

The ITI Awards 2020 are now open for entries – with new prizes and broadened eligibility in some categories.

ITI awards showcase strong knowledge and skills, best practice, business know-how and excellent client relationships, as well as new ways of doing things, and significant contributions to the profession.

Following our third round of awards in 2019, we undertook a review and are pleased to be able to announce more prizes for winners and opportunities for even more translators and interpreters to take part.

Prizes

In addition to trophies and certificates, winners will receive:

Individual and team entrants:

For members - one year's free renewal
OR
For non-members - one year's free membership up to Associate level*

Company award:

One additional complimentary individual membership for one year

Regional group and network initiative award:

A grant of £150 to go towards supporting the work of the Regional Group/Network

*Must meet admission criteria for the membership category chosen.

Broadened Eligibility 

The translation and interpreting assignment categories are now open to both individual and team entrants.

Best performance on a translation assignment
[Open to members. Non-members are also eligible if they undertook the assignment on behalf of an ITI corporate member] 

Best performance on an interpreting assignment

Corporate Member

Mentor of the Year
[Open to members]

Best newcomer – freelancing
[Open to members]

Best newcomer – employee of a corporate member
[Nominated employees may be either members or non-members]

Regional groups and networks – best event or initiative

The deadline for return of entry forms is 10 February 2020.
