ITI Awards Summer Party
ITI is holding its Awards Summer Party for members on Friday 4 September, 3.00-4.00pm.
Be the first to find out who are the winners in the ITI Awards 2020, and share a glass of fizz with us to celebrate their achievements.
Our winners’ stories will showcase excellence in translating and interpreting practice; the life-changing impact of mentoring; practical applications for academic research, business focus and flexibility; and the fantastic work of ITI Networks and Regional Groups.
Proceedings will culminate in the announcement of the recipient of the John Sykes Memorial Prize for outstanding contribution to translation or interpreting; individuals previously recognised with this accolade include Anthea Bell, Professor Jo Drugan, Chris Durban and Roz Schwartz.
This year’s event is online with a completely new format, combining a dynamic audio-visual awards show, with live chat in the studio from ITI Chair Paul Appleyard, Chief Executive Paul Wilson, Awards Chair Catherine Park and Professional Development Officer Ann Brooks. And you can listen to the reactions of our winners on receiving their awards.
We will also be taking the opportunity to look back over the ITI year, at what the Institute and its members have overcome and accomplished in a very challenging environment. There is plenty for us all to be proud of and celebrate, not least the strength of the community spirit which has really come to the fore and supported the ITI family this year.
Be part of the excitement, join in the chat, and as an added bonus, everyone who attends will be entered for a prize draw – we’ll be announcing the winner during the party.
