ITI East Anglia Regional Group
Tell us about your group
The ITI East Anglia Regional Group is a small but friendly community of around 25 translators and interpreters spread across East Anglia, with clusters based in and around Cambridge, Norwich and Chelmsford.
What sort of events do you organise?
We usually aim to host CPD events twice a year and communicate with our members to tailor the content to their needs and interests. Social events are a frequent occurrence, with the group often dividing up into local sub-groups to meet up more often. Our Christmas gathering has become a tradition that makes for a fantastic opportunity for the whole group to get together for a festive meal. We are currently also hosting informal drop-in Zoom calls every week to give members the chance to chat about work and everything else.
Why should I join?
Join the ITI East Anglia Regional Group to meet fellow translators and interpreters in the local area who are always on hand to offer advice and support. You will also benefit from some excellent CPD, training and networking opportunities. The newly appointed committee is passionate about developing the group, so this is certainly an exciting time to get involved! As a friendly group, we are always happy to welcome new members on board.
If you are interested in joining the ITI East Anglia Regional Group or finding out more about us, please contact our Coordinator, Fiona Gray, at [email protected]. You can also follow us on Twitter (@ITIEastAnglia) for news and updates relating to the group.
Find a Professional
The ITI Directory is a free search facility to help you find the professional translator, interpreter or language service provider that can best help you with your language requirements.
You can search on a number of criteria, such as language pair (e.g. German to English), specialisms (e.g. marketing, pharmaceutical, legal) or specific name of the individual or business.
All individual members listed in the ITI Directory are Qualified members (MITI) or Fellows of ITI (FITI). This means that they have passed the ITI translation or interpreting assessment in the given language pair.
