ITI LIFT Network
The LIFT (Law, Insurance and Finance Translation) Network brings together ITI translators and interpreters who have or are seeking to gain experience and expertise in these fields. The current membership is about 190.
Membership is open to all ITI translators and interpreters who work in any of these subject areas. The one-off fee to join is £15 (£12 for Associates, Affiliates and Students) and is payable only once on joining.
One of our main benefits is the e-group, our main forum for exchanging information, getting help with terminology, discussing issues – in general, being supported and supportive. A network of colleagues who share your professional interests and concerns are never more than an email away.
LIFT promotes occasional training, social and outreach initiatives driven by members.
Why should I join?
As well as the e-group, membership of LIFT gives you access to our internal database which gives full details of your colleagues. The database is updated three times a year.
FITI and MITI members are also able to include their profile in a public searchable directory on our websites:

Find a Professional
We don't just translate: we speak your specialist language. We are the people who make sure that your respondents are not defendants; that equipment is depreciated, but goodwill is amortised and financial assets are written down; that losses aren't damages; and that derivatives are measured at fair value.
To find an interpreter or translator with specialist knowledge of one of our three fields, search using the language combination and subject area you need. You will find details of each member on his or her individual page. If the person you contact cannot help you, they will normally be able to recommend a colleague or a sister organisation in this or another country.
All individual members listed in this directory are Qualified Members (MITI) or Fellows (FITI) of ITI. This gives you the assurance that the professional has passed their ITI Translation or Interpreting Assessment in the given language pair.

Please note: The directory is maintained and run by the LIFT network.
Please note: membership of one of our Networks or Regional Groups does not constitute membership of ITI.
