What can translators and interpreters do about climate change?

Understandably, many translators and interpreters are concerned about the climate crisis and are already making changes in their personal lives to lower their environmental impact. But how can we also address our impact as businesses?

In July ITI signed up to the Climate Action Charter. As part of this, we have pledged to provide “continuous professional development tools, principles, and resources that help enable the adoption of environmental best practice” and this webinar forms part of that pledge.

From the webinar you will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of the role small businesses and sole traders have to play in climate change and building a sustainable future
  • Find out about the different aspects of your translation/interpreting business that have an impact on the environment
  • Understand how we can all play our part and reduce that impact.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the climate crisis as a whole, as well as information on how you can make a difference within your business. You will be given further reading and resources and will have started an action plan to help you implement small changes that have a big impact.

This webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the Webinar library for you to access afterwards.
