In this one-hour session, the Association of Interpreters and Translators (AIT) will walk through 5 practical, easy-to-implement strategies to help you grow your business on your terms. Whether you’re just starting out or ready to level up, this session will help you shift from reactive to intentional, equipping you with tools to set smart goals, define your direction, and feel more in control of your freelance journey. If you're ready to take a more strategic approach to running your business sustainably, this session is for you.
About the Speaker
Diana is a certified EN<=>ES translator and interpreter specialising in legal work. She works with law firms and B2B clients, offering translation and interpreting services plus SEO & copywriting services.
Diana also works with LSPs as an Ops & Business Strategy Consultant -embedding directly within her clients' teams to sharpen processes, strengthen systems, shape strategy, and drive marketing and sales. She also provides dedicated project support when it's needed most, from managing a key account, handling a surge in workload, or overseeing a specific service or client relationship. With a background in the UK aviation industry and extensive experience in the UK translation market, she brings sharp expertise in operations, customer service, and team leadership — plus a deep understanding of British culture that allows her work to truly resonate with UK audiences. Rebuilding her business through early motherhood sparked a passion for marketing and business strategy, and a belief that there is a better, more sustainable way to freelancing. That belief now drives her specialist consulting work, through which she has helped tens of LSP clients grow with clarity and purpose. After a decade in the UK, she is now back in her home city of Madrid, where she lives with her husband, three energetic young kids, and a dog whose energy knows no bounds. When she is not juggling work and family life, she loves to train or escaping to nature for a run.
