Online interactive workshop for spoken and sign language interpreters with Dr Beverley Costa.

Agenda:

  • Admission & Ground Rules
  • Presentation by Dr Beverley Costa - 15 min
  • Question and Answer Session

The session will start with a 15-minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. This format gives you the opportunity to ask the questions. It is a chance to find out more of what you want to know about this topic. What, for example, could reflective practice and professional supervision offer you? Are there any situations for which they might not be suitable interventions? How might participation in these activities impact and enhance your practice?

After the presentation, there will be one hour for you to ask the presenter (Beverley) your questions and to share ideas. Beverley will do her best to answer your questions on the spot. This isn’t a set piece. It isn’t a monologue. It’s a dialogue and a conversation.

The conversation will only work, though, if you ask questions. To ensure there are enough questions to make the session viable, AIT would like you to submit your question for Beverley when you register.

AIT look forward to seeing you there, and for everyone to take part. This is a conversation that matters to all of us - to the profession, to practitioners, and to us as human beings.
