| A one-day ticket to the Wine Fair |
| This was my third visit to the London Wine Fair at Olympia. After just having completed the WSET level 3 course I was sure I would get more out of it this year – and I did! No sooner was I through the door wondering where I was going to start than I was over at the Wines Unearthed section and chatting to Rebecca Neves on the Beira Interior stand, learning all about the wines from this DOC, and sampling a few as well – certamente! Further long I stopped to chat to Hector Noria of Rouge & Co. Hector is originally from Mexico, and we had a good chat about the old country, lamentable wines of the past and Querétaro’s recently acquired Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), or as they say in Mexico Indicación Geográfica Protegida (IGP). Rouge & Co sell premium wines, and there was a tasty range on offer. |
