Presentation and translation workshop by the University of Westminster and the London Regional Group, followed by book launch.

Be inspired by the benefits of collaboration and find out how working with others can improve your translation skills as well as your mental health.

At this in-person University of Westminster/London Regional Group event, you will be taken on a whistle-stop tour of the ins and outs of collaboration.

LRG members Nathalie Reis and Adriana Tortoriello, together with LRG member and University of Westminster lecturer Caroline Durant, will present “The Fruits of Collaboration”, a talk that provides useful insights for veteran and new translators alike, interspersed with short exercises where you can put your skills to the test.

After the presentation and translation workshop, why not mingle with the presenters and find out more about their latest book, The Translator’s Little Book of Art. This is a rare chance to talk to the co-authors directly and find out more about the genesis of this latest book and their previous book, The Translator’s Little Book of Poetry.

Both books will be offered at the launch with a 10% discount on each, or the special price of £19.95 for both.

The event is free, but please sign up, so that the organisers can make suitable arrangements.
