Based on the successful ‘Meet the Client’ series, and in view of the topicality of the subject, with an increasing number of foreign-language films, series and documentaries, being shown on TV and in cinemas, this event will focus on subtitling.
We have invited representatives of the subtitling community to talk about the sector, what special skills are required, how to approach work providers.
After their initial presentations, there will be roundtable session during which 6-8 participants meet each of the speakers in turn for a more informal discussion about the industry and career options.
We end with a plenary Q&A session.
