Having run two town hall events we realised that we are missing the voices of our student and early career members. We have therefore added a third town hall meeting date to create a dedicated opportunity to hear from this important part of our ITI community. We know that the languages services sector is changing and so we would really like to hear student and early career members' views on what matters most to them at this time and how ITI can support them now and in the future.
The town hall initiative takes its inspiration from the American tradition of town meetings, where people come together to discuss matters openly before any decisions are made.
The town halls meetings are intended for discussion only. No motions will be debated formally or put to a vote, but we will carry forward ideas that will help us shape our strategic plans.
As this is the first time we've held a meeting of this kind, we'd be especially glad to see as many members as possible.
