Westwords is an initiative between five networks in the west of Britain: ITI Cymru Wales, ITI Western Regional Group (WRG), ITI South West, ITI West Midlands Group (WMG) and North West Translators' Network (NWTN).
We want to bring members together to share knowledge and stimulate discussion on translation and interpreting topics.
We will have both a conference stream (with traditional presentations and workshops) and an unconference stream (with free-flowing discussions on topics raised by attendees). Attendees are free to attend a session in either stream at any time.

Unconference stream 🗣️
An unconference session is an unscripted, free-flowing group discussion on any given topic. When you register, we'll ask you to submit a relevant topic for discussion related to your practice or the profession.
On the day itself, we will vote on which topic to discuss in each session using Slido on your mobile (instructions to follow).
If your topic is chosen, there's no need to give a presentation or speech! Simply introduce your topic briefly and say what you would like to learn or gain from it. A facilitator will support you and help keep the discussion on track.
