“Time management: Theory and practice with Lydia Marquardt”
Are you always short of time? Do essential tasks get left to the last minute or even run over schedule? Do you feel that you use your time efficiently, or have you the feeling that chunks of it get wasted on unimportant or unrewarding activities?
We all have a range of tasks to combine, both in our work life and, especially as freelancers, in juggling our work with our private life. Lydia Marquardt has been investigating and studying this topic in her own 12-year career as a full-time freelancer and, in this workshop, will present both the general background to what constitutes “good” time management and examples of specific time management techniques.
The half-day workshop will take place at the Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh, which is 10-15 mins walk from Edinburgh bus station and Waverley train station. After the event, lunch will be served within the venue.
