Why this workshop is relevant and timely

Social media remains a primary channel for visibility, networking, and client acquisition across industries. Despite this, many professionals lack a structured approach to content creation, resulting in inconsistent presence or complete inactivity. At the same time, increasing content saturation has made purely promotional communication less effective, reinforcing the need for more engaging, value-driven strategies. The ability to communicate clearly and consistently online is therefore becoming a core professional skill rather than an optional activity.

Description of training content

This workshop focuses on simplifying the process of creating and maintaining a consistent social media presence, particularly for professionals who struggle with where to start, what to share, and how to stay consistent over time.

Topics the workshop sessions will cover:

  • Common barriers to content creation (lack of ideas, unclear positioning, inconsistency)
  • Shifting from a promotional mindset to a value-driven communication approach
  • Defining content pillars aligned with expertise, audience, and objectives
  • Structuring content by format, platform, and theme
  • Practical frameworks for generating content ideas on an ongoing basis
  • Basic content structures (hooks, clarity, relevance, retention)
  • Planning and organising content in a simple and sustainable way

The workshop is designed to be practical and actionable, including guided exercises to help participants apply the concepts to their own communication.

Session 1
18 June 2026 | 10am - 11am BST

Session 1 focuses on foundations, structure, and execution. This is followed by defining clear objectives and identifying target audiences. The session would end with guidelines for writing posts, basic formatting, and publishing best practices. Participants will be assigned “homework” to build a one-month content plan based on the frameworks provided.

Session 2
25 June 2026 | 10am - 11am BST

Session 2 focuses on refinement, performance, and optimisation. It starts with a review of the participants’ work, addressing common challenges and clarifying doubts. The session then introduces LinkedIn analytics, including how to interpret key metrics (reach, engagement, saves, profile actions) and identify patterns in content performance. To end, there will be time for a Q&A.
