Agata McCrindle

Agata McCrindle is a Polish<>English chartered translator and interpreter at The Linguist, winner of the 2020 ITI Award for best performance on translation assignment. She has co-founded and chairs the ITI Polish Network, and is a member of the ITI LIFT Network committee, where she organises events.

Ruth Simpson

Ruth Simpson MITI has been translating professionally since 2008 in the fields of wine, beauty and personal development. She lives on her family’s wine estate in Chablis and holds the WSET Level 4 Diploma in wines and spirits.

Before moving to Chablis, Ruth was an English trainer at L’Oréal’s Luxury Division, facilitating workshops and tutoring business and marketing professionals.

She is a graduate of the University of Warwick, and in addition to studying French, she spent her time singing with the chamber choir and musical theatre society. A keen scuba diver and violinist, Ruth started playing the ukulele in 2019 and has begun to suffer from UAS, ukulele acquisition syndrome.
