A European Union accredited conference interpreter & a former staff translator of the European Union. Philip is a professional translator and interpreter with more than 10 years of high-level experience. He has been an accredited conference interpreter of the European Union since 2010. In addition, he was the first Chinese translator to have worked in-house for the European Union. He is also a freelance interpreter for many other international organisations including the United Nations and its agencies. In addition, he is a non-practising solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He is also a teaching fellow at the University of Bath and a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster for their prestigious postgraduate courses on interpreting and translation.
