Dr Li Li MITI

A highly professional Chinese-English linguist and academic combining extensive interpreting experience with current research and teaching. Experienced in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting across legal, business, and healthcare sectors. Qualified with a Diploma in Translation (CIOL), DPSI Law, and NPPV3 Clearance for UK Police forces. Currently Lecturer in Interpreting and Translation Studies at the University of Stirling, with a PhD from the University of East Anglia, focusing on maternity interpreting services. Research examines healthcare interpreting, language access, and video-mediated interpreting technologies, representing the first comprehensive investigation of interpreting provision in UK maternity settings.
