With almost 20 years' experience as a conference and ad hoc interpreter both in Italy and the UK, I have gained a wide range of experience in business meetings and negotiations; trade shows; telephone interpreting; international court cases and depositions; ministerial meetings; technical and IT training sessions; European Works Councils; hair-styling, fashion, make-up, photography, image consultancy and leather goods courses; press conferences; factory visits; clinical trials; marketing research; creative industries events; religious meetings.

I have interpreted for a number of British and Italian MPs (the then Home Secretary David Blunkett, Rocco Buttiglione, Cesare Damiano, Enrico La Loggia), trade unionists such as Bob Crow and Maurizio Landini, the singer Annie Lennox and the philosopher, historian and literary critic Hamid Dabashi, from Columbia University. I have also worked for the European Agency for Cooperation on Asylum (EASO), the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Bayern International - the foreign trade promotion agency which works on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs - several German Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Italian Trade and Investment Agency, for which I carried out numerous assignments during Expo 2015 in Milan.

Besides interpreting and translating, I have been a visiting lecturer on the Masters Conference Interpreting Course and the preparatory course for the Diploma in Translation of the Institute of Linguists at the University of Westminster. Furthermore, I have taught English at the Universities of Salerno, Milano Statale and Milano Bicocca, in Italy.
