I have over 30 years’ experience as a translator from English to French and I specialise in international development working for NGOs on three continents.
I particularly enjoy translating training programmes for NGO staff on a variety of subjects: NTDs, WASH, safeguarding, IDPs, child marriage etc.
I translate exclusively into my mother tongue, but I work as a team with an English mother tongue translator and interpreter.
I am also registered as a translator with the Consulat général de France in London and can provide certified translations. I am based in Camberley, Surrey.
I attend regular conferences to keep myself abreast of any changes in my industry and I maintain my mother tongue with frequent trips to France, reading weekly French magazines and books and listening to daily French podcasts.
