Over 18 years of translation/interpreting/teaching experience, with a Master’s degree in Translation Studies from The University of Portsmouth, and 2 DPSIs (Law & Health) options. Lecturer of Translation Studies at The University of Hull for 3 years running. MOD Senior Linguist & Cultural Adviser (Site Manager) stationed with the British army in the Middle East for 3 continuous years. Spoke to / interpreted face-to-face for former British Prime Minster, Theresa May whilst she was on a visit around the Middle East (2017) visiting the British Army. Linguist/Cultural Advisor for Special Forces training in Qatar in preparation for the FIFA world cup, 2022. Completed thousands of words translating many high profile cases including the Grenfell Fire Inquiry, anti terrorism, national/international security, etc. I am CTC, SC and DV security cleared.
