Peter was born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He is a Chartered Linguist, a Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and a member of the Danish Authors' Association, with decades of experience as a Danish linguist.
He started his career as a translator in-house with Xerox Corporation in Slough, England.
Later, he went freelance to work with media as varied as brochures, workshop manuals, films and audio files for companies such as Apple Inc., McDonald’s Corporation, Unilever, and many other leading companies within their field.
He also works as an external marker for Danish at English & Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Among his specialisms are technical, marketing, tourism, automotive texts, literature; quality standards of artificially generated language.
