I am based in London and am now freelance after 15 years as Head of the Japanese department at an audio-visual translation agency in London, and 10 years of PR/advertising in Tokyo. Wide experience in both business and creative content, in documents, subtitles, voice-over scripts, and copywriting. Particularly interested in creative arts translation: my work includes opera, theatre, museums, films and literature. A runner-up in the 1st JLPP International Translation Competition (JP>EN) by Japan's Agency of Cultural Affairs (Bunka-cho).
