I am a Romanian translator with over 20 years of professional experience, based in the UK for the past 14 years. I work with organisations, professionals and individuals who need Romanian translations they can rely on.

Over the course of my career, I have translated more than 12 million words across the medical, technical, legal and public sectors.

Many of the documents I translate are reviewed by regulators, healthcare professionals, legal teams or other subject-matter experts, and need to stand up to close scrutiny.

My work regularly includes clinical trial documentation, medical device materials, hospital and GP records, independent medical expert reports, psychiatric and psychological assessments, and court documentation.

I also provide certified translations of personal, legal and official documents.

Alongside my medical and medico-legal work, I translate technical manuals, software interfaces and industrial equipment documentation. Before becoming a freelance translator, I spent five years as an in-house translator for a mechanical engineering company, translating technical, legal and commercial documentation on a daily basis. The experience gave me a solid understanding of manufacturing environments, industrial processes and the practical realities behind the documents I translate.

I hold an MSc in Specialised Translation from University College London, am a Qualified Member (MITI) of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and an Authorised Translator and Interpreter of the Romanian Ministry of Justice.
