Experienced commercial lawyer and professional translator: first degree in Japanese Studies from Oxford University, subsequent qualification as a lawyer, working in Japan, Switzerland and the UK; freelance translator since 2005. ITI qualified for both Japanese to English and German to English.

I am comfortable translating the whole spectrum of legal and business documents and I have the legal and language skills required to provide professional quality legal and business translations. Other specialist areas include modern history, fine arts, maritimeand literature.
