Sarah Letza
Coordinator
Coordinator Sarah Letza studied French and English at the University of Manchester and went on to become a Teacher of Modern Languages. After 25 years she switched career by completing a Masters in Translation Studies at the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a focus on literary translation and International Development. She was appointed Translator in Residence with Writing West Midlands and Aston University in 2021/22, which has led to leading translation workshops from Primary age to University level students as well as work in community settings.

Deputy Coordinator Carola Lange has been an ITI member since 2016 having left the security of employment in 2015 to embark on a surprisingly successful freelance translation career, specialising in Medical and Pharmaceutical translations and interpreting.
