Bridging Worlds: Translation, Intercultural Dialogue, and Global Impact

Bridging Worlds: Translation, Intercultural Dialogue, and Global Impact

Please note that due to illness, the date of this has changed to the 20th of March. All tickets previously sold for the date of 26th February are still valid for the event on the new date.

We've brought together leading practitioners in literary translation and cross-cultural communication to explore how multilingual expertise creates genuine impact in an increasingly fractured world. Our keynote speakers are Xue Mo (renowned Chinese author and literary scholar) and Dr Yukteshwar Kumar (Course Director for MA Interpreting and Translating at Bath), with additional speakers TBC.

The afternoon is designed for both undergraduates curious about career paths and postgraduates deepening their research interests. There'll be time for questions and informal conversation with speakers and Bristol faculty afterwards.
