Please note that the British Grand Prix is taking place at Silverstone after the conference, so the city may be busy towards the end of the week. We recommend if you intend to attend the conference that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. We have put together a list of accommodation.
We are delighted to welcome ITI members to the next conference, taking place in July 2026. Our conferences are always an uplifting occasion, and 2026's will be extra special as we will be marking our 40th anniversary. The venue will be Unity Place, an exciting new venue close to the train station in our home city of Milton Keynes. Unity Place was created with community and collaboration in mind, which makes it the perfect location to bring the #ITIcommunity together.
In terms of content of the event, we plan to take a new and fresh approach to our conference in 2026. A small team of members is currently working on the programme with the goal that the conference experience should be collaborative and participative. We want participants to work together to build creative solutions that will secure a resilient future for the translation and interpreting profession. We’re also aiming to ensure that members gain practical knowledge and ideas that will help them to attract clients and implement sustainable business models.
Although we’re changing the format we will still have all the ingredients that you look forward to as well – our conference dinner, fringe events, Network activities, opportunities to meet up with friends, and plenty of time for socialising.
So put the date in your diaries now, as we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to Milton Keynes.
