A sports writing Q&A session with two vastly experienced sports writers, Daniel Williams and James Calder.
James Calder has 25 years’ experience as a freelance writer, translator and subtitle creator and has spent most of that time working in the sports industry with governing bodies, clubs and publications.
He has written in the past for UK football magazines and more recently for a major global sporting governing body.
Daniel Williams has been working as a freelance translator, editor and writer since 2017, primarily in football and motorsport. His working languages are French, German, Russian and Italian, and he has worked on everything from sports biographies to post-match interviews at European finals. Most of his writing and editing work is for corporate clients, and focuses on sports science, corporate communications and legal/compliance issues.
