I am a qualified and experienced Nepali interpreter/translator with 19 years of professional service in Hong Kong, as well as the UK. I have primarily worked in public sector, including legal, medical, educational and occupational domains. Academically, I hold a PhD in Interpreting and Translation Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Research Training (Gender Studies) from the University of Hull, UK and a Master's Degree in English: Modern Literature and Culture from the University of Kent, UK. I have presented at Interpreting and Translation conferences in Berlin, Poznan-Poland, Seoul- Korea, Edinburgh and Hong Kong. My interpreting/translation work is fully supported by comprehensive vetting clearances in compliance with UK authority requirements, demonstrating my commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. I actively engage in Continuing Professional Development to maintain and enhance my professional knowledge and skills.
