I am a native English speaker with an MA in Translation (Distinction) and experience in translating from Spanish and Catalan into English. I specialise mainly in the fields of the arts, culture and media, with projects including the translation of audio guides and exhibition materials for the Museo del Prado, Museo Picasso and the Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao, the translation of FC Barcelona’s Blaugranes magazine, and large-scale international projects for a local artist and designer. I have a passion for languages and what they represent, with over twenty years' experience working in linguistics. I live and work in Figueres, near Spain's Costa Brava, and love to contribute to disseminating the wonderful culture, beauty and heritage of my adopted homeland.
