I've been translating since 2011, drafting translations that don't sound like translations.

In the legal field, I translate legislation, judgments, certificates, contracts and more, and have particular experience in EU and international law. My clients range from international institutions to businesses, NGOs and private individuals. Legal translation is an area I focus on heavily for my CPD, and I’m constantly working to expand my personal legal glossaries.

I also translate about a wide range of sports, from the mainstream to the highly niche – many of which I've dabbled in at some point over the years.

Last but by no means least, I'm always happy to whip out my proverbial red pen and take on revision, editing and proofreading work.

My experience is backed up by my numerous language qualifications and memberships: MA Interpreting and Translating, BA Modern Languages, Diploma in Translation, Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, and Intermediate Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.
