Specialised Translator and Transcreator for Art, Fashion, Tourism & the Creative Industries, holding a joint First Class degree in History of Art and Architecture and Philosophy from the University of Reading and an MA in Translation from the University of Westminster. With over 15 years of experience, I have translated marketing materials, museum guides, leaflets, correspondence, websites, fashion product descriptions and other types of texts, and I especially enjoy translating audio guides for museums and tourist attractions.

Apart from running a translation business, I am also a Visiting Lecturer in Institutional Translation at the MA Specialised Translation and MA Translation and Interpreting courses and MA Project supervisor at the University of Westminster.

In addition to the ITI membership, I am also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL), having the status of a Chartered Linguist (CL), and member of the Associação Portuguesa de Tradutores e Intérpretes (APTRAD).

What I bring to translation is my passion, excellent translation skills, in-depth knowledge of my specialist fields, excellent research skills and attention to detail.
