Dr Michela de Julio MITI

Doctor of Law and Doctor of Modern Languages in English and Spanish, she has built a professional career of thirty-five years in translation, legal linguistics and cross border advisory work. She directs mmweurope.com and mmwtraduzioni.com and has translated more than twenty-five million words for public bodies, private companies and major law firms in Italy and the United Kingdom. She provides official, sworn and notarised translations in several language pairs and serves as an Official Translator for the General Italian Consulate in London and she is appointed as an official translator for the Judge of the Court of Rome. She is also a Legal Consultant with a Master in Immigration Law and supports clients in complex matters concerning Italian citizenship, status verifications and the recognition of academic titles and professional qualifications in Italy and abroad. Her work covers a wide range of legal documents for international disputes, contractual matters, litigation and private arbitration. She is registered as a trainee lawyer with the Rome Bar. She is preparing for admission as a solicitor in England and Wales and completed her SQE preparation course at the University of Law. She collaborates with Rome Law Court as an Official Translator and appears on the Rome Chamber of Commerce List of Court Experts. Her professional qualifications include membership as a Qualified Translator of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in England and membership as a Qualified Translator MCIL of the Chartered Institute of Linguists with registration number 53318. She also serves as an Official Translator for the General Italian Consulate in London.
