I am a full-time translator with over 13 years of experience in translation, proofreading, and creative writing. I work in the fields of media, literature, humanities, and medical translations. My literary translations spring from my being a creative writer and author of two books, an English poetry collection and an Arabic prose and short stories collection. In addition to being MITI, I hold a MA in specialised translation from Roehampton University, and a Postgraduate Diploma in media and literary translation from the American University in Cairo (AUC).

I work with a variety of clients, translation agencies as well as direct clients, from and into Arabic. I also do some occasional mentoring work for fresh graduates. I do a lot of work for the NHS and I thoroughly enjoy helping the Arab community in the UK through my translation as well as interpreting skills.
