Mrs Viktoriia Bogdanova MITI
I specialise in the translation of documents in the fields of education, immigration, medicine, finance, and law, as well as in educational, marketing, gaming, and dating content. I have solid experience in localising websites and applications.
On 30 September 2009, while I was in my fifth year at Donetsk National University (Ukraine), I signed my first professional contract. I was hired by Metallurg Donetsk Football Club as the Russian-to-English translator for the club’s official website. Interestingly, International Translation Day is celebrated on 30 September, making it a meaningful coincidence that my professional translation career began on that very day.
I graduated in 2010 with a Master’s degree in French Language and Literature, along with qualifications as a teacher of French and English languages and literatures at the higher education level, and as a translator.
My background and education led me to become a bilingual linguist specialising in translation to and from four languages: Ukrainian (native), Russian (native), English (fluent), and French (fluent).
