CPD is all about refining and expanding your existing skills and subject knowledge, keeping up to date with commercial and linguistic developments, learning new technologies and contributing to our profession.

The benefits of CPD are multiple. It enables you to:

  • evidence your commitment to your career and profession
  • boost your profile with clients
  • enhance your understanding of your specialist field
  • potentially earn more
  • improve your productivity, efficiency and confidence
  • learn a new specialism
  • keep up to date with your source language
  • achieve greater job satisfaction

ITI recommends that all its members* undertake 30 hours of CPD in each membership year. On these pages, you'll find all the resources you need to help you undertake CPD in areas relevant to you, including the training that ITI offers. There's something for everyone, from newcomers to the profession to seasoned practitioners.
